[PC100051.JPG]
My sister and I got some early Christmas presents, new bikes!
Today we went on a bike ride along Cooks River.

We made a yummy picnic. I made peanut butter and jam sandwiches, my sister washed the fruit.
We put on some sunblock on our arms and legs.

My little sister is very strong.

I can surf.

There are a lot of birds.
[PC100017.JPG]
We love honking our horns under the tunnels.
[PC100046.JPG]
This is a sacred ibis. Many people think they are pests but they are actually native birds whose habitat has been destroyed by humans so they have come to live in the city.

Filling up our water bottles because cycling is hard work.

This is my bike, his name is Slick.

This is where my great grandmother (Baba) is buried.
[PC100031.JPG][PC100034.JPG]
We eat our picnic at Baba's grave.
[PC100032.JPG]
But all of the chocolate had melted. We ate it anyway, well licked it.
[PC100033.JPG]
This is the Russian section.
[PC100037.JPG]
We found some flowers and gave them to Baba
[PC100040.JPG]
Some of the graves are broken. My sister thought that zombies come out from here at night.

Katia packs up the picnic.

We said goodbye to Baba and rode back home.
